This Account Deletion Policy explains how account deletion works on Klash. It supplements, and should be read together with, Klash's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Independent Contractor Agreement, and KlashPlus Subscription Terms. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.

Account deletion is a request to permanently remove your Klash account and associated Personal Information where legally possible. Klash may still retain certain records after deletion, described in Section 8 (What May Be Retained), where necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, payment, payout, or other regulatory obligations.
In Klash Settings, choose Delete Account, tap Request Deletion and confirm. You do not need to call or send a separate email to initiate a request in the app. If you cannot access the app, contact support@getklash.com. We may verify your identity before completing deletion.
We aim to complete eligible deletion requests within 30 calendar days of the original request. If an unresolved booking, payment, payout, dispute, business-ownership obligation or required review delays completion, we explain the issue and the next review step. A delayed request keeps its original date; it is not silently restarted. This target does not replace applicable legal deadlines. We confirm completion using the account contact details or another verified contact method agreed with you.
Your request is recorded for review. It does not immediately erase data or cancel a subscription. When fulfillment processing begins, we restrict account access and revoke sessions, then reconcile obligations and remove eligible personal data. A blocked request remains under review; a processing failure is not treated as completed deletion.
Active bookings and unresolved financial or dispute obligations can delay final deletion. We resolve or reconcile those obligations before final erasure. Once processing has restricted the account, new account activity remains blocked. A Fleet owner must resolve company ownership and outstanding company obligations; deleting an employee account does not delete the company or its records.
Requesting deletion does not cancel or forfeit an earned payout. Unresolved payouts are reconciled through Stripe Connect before final deletion. Independent proceeds belong to the Independent business; Fleet proceeds belong to the Fleet company. A Fleet worker is not the beneficiary of company-service proceeds.
Submitting a deletion request does not immediately cancel a subscription. You may manage renewal through your subscription management option while the request is reviewed. During fulfillment, we stop future renewal of subscriptions you own and verify the result with the payment provider. An employee deletion cannot cancel the employer's Fleet subscription. Outstanding invoices or uncertain cancellations require resolution. Deletion does not automatically create a refund or rewrite historical charges.
When eligible deletion is fulfilled, we remove ordinary profile/contact data, saved vehicles and service locations, notification tokens, customer-business convenience links and eligible private booking/contact/message data. We delete the login identity after the eligible data is erased. Unknown profile assets or unusually large inventories require specific review rather than an inaccurate completion claim.
Klash may retain certain records after account deletion, where necessary for the following purposes:
Klash does not use records retained under this section to provide you with the Services after your account has been deleted.
Retention depends on the applicable purpose and legal requirement. Restricted records require documented review and must not be retained merely because storage is available. The 30-day fulfillment target is not a blanket deletion schedule for financial, proof, claim, fraud or legally required evidence. Backup and soft-deleted copies may remain for the configured recovery period and must not be restored to resume service for a deleted account.
Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is fully deleted, it cannot be restored. If you wish to use Klash again after deletion, you will need to create a new account.
